This weekend I was asked to attend a wedding weekend at Bashall Barn. It was filled with some of the most amazing suppliers and it was a great chance for me to network and also meet lots of new brides….and grooms!
Bashall Barn is a stunning venue, late last year I did a shoot there for Great Northern Wedding Venue Magazine (See blog post) and just fell in love with the place. It has a rustic barn feel, yet light, airy and the most amazing views make it such a beautiful place.
I was there both Saturday and Sunday doing the makeup for the bridal wear models.
The makeup was kept simple yet glam to compliment the overall look. My belief with bridal makeup is that it should be ‘you on a good day’.
Here are some before and after pics of the makeup.
Molly was given a flawless complexion and defined eyes and brows, no lashes were added to Mollies look.
Michelle was given a stunning glowing complexion with a soft yet glam eye using neutral peaches and browns and her eyes were further enhanced using M103 lashes.
A soft yet beautifully enhanced look for Anita, with glowing flawless skin and once again a lot of focus on the eyes, once again using lashes to add the finishing touch this time using M101.
The foundation was carried down onto the chest to help conceal any blemishes.
Hair by the amazing Hair by ZW, Zoe and I work together frequently on weddings, our styles and personalities compliment each other so well.
On Saturday we had beautiful dresses from Foxglove brides
On the Sunday yet more amazing dresses from Kimberley Anne bridal boutique.
Here are some other pics I managed to take throughout the weekend.
