WHAT’S IN THE CULT BEAUTY BOX?
I just love when orders arrive, I know I’ve placed the order and most of the time they are things for work but I know they contain lots of pretty and exciting items that I can play with, so each time it’s like Christmas.
So in today’s order from Cult beauty there’s not 1 but 2 very exciting products ……..drum roll please!
Everyone has raved on about the Anastasia highlight kits for ages and if i’m honest it was the range of colours in the previous kits that put me off. I could see myself using just one or 2 of the shades and whilst they can be used as eye-shadow’s etc, I do already have a very full kit and can’t warrant the space or expense.
Anyway I’m waffling…so I saw the NEW Sugar Glow kit and thought that all 4 colours looked wearable and they were all colours I would use on clients. These highlighters are very pigmented and can be worn sheer or built up for a more dramatic look.
The pictures don’t do these products much justice, which is down to my photography skills (or lack of) not the product, but I wanted to give you an idea of the tones, in person they are absolutely stunning and I’m sure you wouldn’t regret purchasing either (or both) of these items.
Marshmallow – beautiful yellow gold similar to Nars Albatross but more pigmented
Gumdrop – Pink. subtle yet quite a raspberry shade of shimmer
Butterscotch – a beautiful soft peachy bronzey gold but not too brown, probably one of my faves
Starburst – soft, warm baby pink perfect for light skin tone too similar to mac soft and gentle
The blush kit is available in Radiant and Gradient, I chose Radiant, it is just beautiful, again 4 very wearable colours 2 more pink shades 2 more peach/coral, perfect for my bridal kit. The packaging is a gorgeous blush pink, with a mirror inside.
They are all really pigmented so a light hand is advised to gradually build up the colour.
